Unity problem in Ubuntu 16.04

Yesterday night I experienced a weird situation with my laptop while tweaking some new features of the Unity tweak tool. I was testing the window spreading, when the Launcher and Panel vanished!!! Fortunately I found a solution to my problem, which is the theme of this post.
At first, I restarted my computer to figure out that only my user account still had this disfunctionality. So I opened a Terminal. I tried to stop and restart Unity but there was no response. The next thing I tried was to go and take a look at compiz configuration. Everything was ok, started to get even more confused..
My second thought was to boot in recovery mode to find a solution.
Fortunately, the Launcher and Panel were there (made things a bit easier!), and searched the web for a possible answer. My solution was CCSM, short for CompizConfig Settings Manager. I rebooted, logged in to my account and opened a Terminal. Typed in the following to download and install:

sudo apt-get install ccsm
ccsm

When the interface loaded, there was an option for Unity. By clicking it I discovered that it was disabled from down left. After I enabled it I was asked to do some settings and that was it !!! My Launcher and Panel were back! So now I can continue to use my computer with ease again. Hope this helps you too!

Under the shadow of Unity discontinuation I don't know if these problems continue in other graphical interfaces, but it was worth fixing!
